Summer Glau is an American actress known for her performance as River Tam in the critically popular TV show Firefly and also as Cameron in the series Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. As well as these shows, she's also appeared in Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck and Hawaii Five-0 as well guest-starring in Angel The Unit Cape Arrow & Sequestered. The actress who has acted in films such as Serenity and Knights of Badassdom has also made a few TV films and short films such as Mammoth The Birth of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon Help for Christmas Dead End and Inside the Box to name several. Glau has been the recipient of several awards and honours. FHM has included her in their 100 Sexiest Women of World listing twice. Wizard magazine included her in their Sexiest Women of TV. Maxim magazine also featured Glau as an American beauty on the magazine's Hot 100. Glau was awarded with the SFX Award Best Actress Award for Serenity. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Selena is the youngest of children born to Marcela Quintanilla. When Selena was eight she began an active career with a group that was formed by her father. Selena and her brothers Abraham junior and sister Suzette performed on drums. Selena sang for the group. Selena Y Los Dino, the group she played with was known as Selena Y Los Dino. She would also perform at wedding fairs as and in dining establishments. Selena, her sisters and their parents were extremely involved in the group. They didn't have a childhood. But Abraham helped them become determined musicians because of his passion. Abraham senior was also a member of Los Dinos' original band, played the guitar. Selena Y Los Dinos were officially established in 1981. It was a family business and the main source of revenue for the family. Quintanilla was determined, despite being a poor financial situation in early on. They worked to become a successful family band. Their patience would eventually pay dividends in the 1980's when Selena Y Los Dinos gained popularity in the west states. Selena is the singer who was lead from the band, received two Awards during the Tejano Awards in 1985: Female Vocalist of The Year, and also the Performer. Selena Y Los Dinos continued to win prizes of the Tejano music awards as well as gaining popularity and recognition. They've been featured in a number of Spanish TV shows, including El Show De Johnny Canales - Siempre En Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
